MAGNETISM IN METALLIC DISORDERED BINARY ALLOYS

The ground-state solutions of the Hubbard model of a metallic disorder binary alloys A_{x}B_{1-x} are studied. The electronic structure is solved within the Cluster Bethe-Lattice method, and the size of the local moments on each site are detemined in a self-consistent manner. We find that for various values of the Coulomb Integral (U) and as a function of the number of electrons (n), the fround state of the system presents two magnetic phases: Pauli paramagnet for small values of U and antiferrimagnet states when U is more strong.
